Terms of use
IMIGZ app & imigz.com · version 1.0 · effective October 31, 2026These are the rules for using IMIGZ. They sit beside our Privacy Policy and, before your first body scan, the separate biometric consent shown in the app. Plain language on purpose; if something is unclear, ask us.

Agreement, eligibility and your account
These terms are an agreement between you and IMIGZ, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("IMIGZ", "we"). By creating an account or using the IMIGZ app or imigz.com, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use IMIGZ.
- Age. You must be 18 or older.
- Account required. You sign up with Sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple ID secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Accurate information. Your calorie targets and body results depend on what you enter (height, weight, birth year, sex). Keep it accurate.
- One person per account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
- Apple. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end-user terms also apply. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and where those terms conflict with ours on the app's licence, Apple's terms govern.
Health and safety
IMIGZ is a fitness and wellness tool, not medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, dietitian or other professional.
- Talk to a professional first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating, and before any significant change in diet or exercise.
- Estimates, not measurements of record. Calorie targets, meal estimates from photos, body-fat percentages, visceral fat, metabolic age and other results are estimates and can be wrong. Don't use them for medical decisions.
- Calorie floors. The app won't set a daily target below a minimum (currently 1,200 kcal for women and 1,500 kcal for men). That floor is a safety limit, not a recommendation to eat that little.
- Stop and get help if you feel unwell, faint, or experience pain during exercise or dieting. The in-app support button is a coping tool, not a crisis service; in an emergency call 911 or your local emergency number.
- Your choices. You decide what to eat and how to exercise. Use the app's suggestions at your own judgment.
Body scans, meal estimates and third-party services
Some features rely on other companies' services.
- Body scans are processed by Prism Labs. Before your first scan you give separate biometric consent and accept Prism Labs' terms, shown in the app. Scans are limited to about one every two weeks.
- Meal estimates from photos are produced by an AI model (Google's Gemini) and checked against the USDA FoodData Central database. Review and correct every estimate before logging it.
- Availability. These services can change, slow down or stop. We may change or remove features that depend on them, and we are not responsible for their errors or downtime.
- Cliques. If you join a clique, other members see whether you showed up each day, the boosts you send, your reactions and replies, any photo you post, and, if you turn it on, that you trained and what the workout was; never your numbers, your progress photos or your IMIGZ. Post only photos you have the right to share and that show nobody who hasn't agreed. Be respectful; you can delete your own posts and replies, and the person who started the clique can remove any post or reply in it. You can report a post or reply to us, or mute a member so their posts no longer appear for you; we may remove content or members that don't belong.
- Your IMIGZ. The app can assemble two of your progress photos into a before-and-after image. Sharing it is your choice and happens through your phone's share sheet, not through IMIGZ; we never receive the image, and what the receiving app or service does with it is governed by that service's terms, not these.
Acceptable use, your content and our rights
Don't: use IMIGZ for anyone but yourself; scan or photograph another person; upload unlawful or offensive content; harass clique members; reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or try to break into the app or our servers; resell the service; or use it in any way that breaks the law.
Your content (what you enter, log and photograph) stays yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only to run IMIGZ for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. That licence ends when you delete it, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
Feedback. If you send suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Our rights. The app, its design, the IMIGZ name and logo, and our content belong to IMIGZ or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms.
Subscriptions and payments
IMIGZ is free during the beta. If we add paid features:
- Some features may require a paid subscription. Price, billing period and what's included are shown before you buy.
- Purchases in the app are billed by Apple to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID's subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- Free trials, if offered, convert to paid at the end of the trial unless cancelled.
- We may change prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity
As is. IMIGZ is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of estimates and results, and uninterrupted or error-free service. During the beta, features may change or break.
Limit on our liability. To the extent the law allows, IMIGZ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity. If you misuse IMIGZ or break these terms and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim, to the extent the law allows.
Ending your account, disputes, changes and contact
Ending. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete everything. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why where we can. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content licence ending, disclaimers, liability limits, disputes) continue after your account ends.
Disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts serving Arlington County, Virginia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it locally. Please contact us first; most issues can be solved by email.
Changes. We may update these terms. For a material change we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use IMIGZ after that means you accept the new terms. If you don't, you can delete your account.
Other. If a part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to a successor to the business.
